The project aims to equip the learners with employable skills . currently , we have 360 youths acquiring skills in Carpentry, Building and concrate practice, Hairdressing, toiloring , ICT, Welding and Metal works.
We have also integrated guidance and counselling sessions in our trainings. This is aimed at up holding the mental health of our trainees.
the trainings are provided at the beneficiaries at zero cost. Abexinah orphans and vulnerable community information centre meets the cost of training materials, utilities like electricity, water, and allowances for the trainers.
With the increasing number, we have decided that we shall have two training sessions. The morning session that runs from 8:00am to 1:00pm,,, and the session that runs from 2:00pm to 5:00pm for proper hands on training basing on the resources that we have.
We still request for support for many more beneficiaries to get employable skills.
