Provide vocational training to vulnerable children/youths, and teenage girls . The training is aiming at equipping the trainees with lifelong vocational skills( carpentry, Hairdressing, Tailoring, ICT, Building&Concrate practice ) for self reliance. The training is to empower both male and female, the training also welcomes learners/beneficiaries with disabilities, all tribes without discrimination. The training shall also involve other cross cutting issues HIV/AIDS education
The parents, or Care takers are below the poverty line. Some of the target project beneficiaries have reported to us about the inability of their parents/care takers to continue supporting them. Additionally, we now have large numbers of parents / care givers bringing their children to our centre seeking vocational training. With these, there are now many school drop outs as youths have lost interest in formal education resorting to vocational education. This has caused a need for the project
The project therefore is intended to equip the vulnerable children/youths, teenage pregnant girls, mothers with lifelong skills for self reliance. They will be employable skills that will help the beneficiaries to get an income
The beneficiaries shall be able to meet their basic needs, pay fees for their children.
