We are approaching a significant date, which is our first anniversary as GlobalGiving members. Our crowdfunding campaigns are now an essential part of LAWA, and the support we have received so far, as well as the interaction with our donors, gives us the strength to keep on going.
This is our second campaign and so far we have raised over £2,500, which has been used towards sponsoring families that stay in our refuge, enabling mothers to take part in free English classes, empowering them to gain independence as well offering free counselling services from women and children to shed the trauma of violence and move forward.
As we prepare to take part in GlobalGiving's Giving Week (October 2-6), which celebrates this amazing community and our efforts, we would like to thank you for your support and hope you will continue to help us boost this campaign by spreading the word and motivating others to support disadvantaged families.
