From March through June 2022, the KEX Kids Fund helped 212 children with comprehensive vision exams and new eyeglasses for families in need. During this school year, the KEX Kids Fund helped support the cost of 102 new eyeglasses for youth.
During the past few months, we have received more requests for help with vision care. The number of requests are increasing each month as schools return to in person instruction and school nurses are able to refer more students.

Recently we helped an 8 year old girl who was diagonsed with amblyopia. Through treatment, her eye will strengthen, preventing any permanent vision loss. The KEX Kids Funds provided important assistance for this girl's family who couldn't afford the cost of the vision treatment.
