Challenge

Two of our very own staff lost their lives as they were serving others. The Syrian Regime forces shelled two sub districts of Idlib - which killed Ibrahim and Raghid as well as other civilian casualties. Both men worked tirelessly to deliver humanitarian aid to Syrians. They were the only source of income for their families. Both families suffered the loss of their loved ones compounded by the loss of their breadwinner.

Solution

We at Syrian Forum USA believe in supporting our staff. We are raising funds to support their livelihoods and to provide basic services to the children. Donations will directly support Ibrahim and Raghid's families.

Long-Term Impact

Ibrahim left behind his wife and a one-year old son - Adam. Prior to his death, Ibrahim was providing for his parents including his father who is handicapped and has a chronic heart condition. He also financially supported his two brothers. Raghid left behind his wife, three children- Sham, Shams and Zakareya- a sister, and his mother. Raghid's mother not only lost her son during the shelling, but she also lost her arm. Donations will support the livelihoods and basic services of 10 people.
