MUCHAS GRACIAS!

English version / Versión en inglés

Victor dreams of becoming an inventor, “I dream of working on inventions in a laboratory and making discoveries, discovering something useful, like an airplane or a ship...”. Victor is 8 years old, he is in the third grade, and he likes math, English, religion, arts and crafts and cooking classes. He lives with his mother and siblings in Petare.

Thanks to your contribution we are able to provide one more year of quality education for Victor and the other 399 students of Jenaro Aguirre Elorriaga School in Barrio 24 de Marzo, located in La Bombilla Sector of Petare.

Quoting Victor Hugo, “He who opens the door to a school, closes the door to a prison”. Together when can help this school, known in the community as “the oasis of the Slum” maintain its doors open. Together we are building a better future for its students thanks to the power of education.

The Madre María Luisa Casar foundation has been dedicated to raising and managing the necessary funds to train citizens to become positive role models in their community for 21 years. This is based in 3 key pillars: quality education, balanced nutrition and dignified healthcare. In order to obtain and maintain academic achievements, it is essential that the students be well fed and healthy.

We invite you to continue supporting our children, teachers and the staff of Jenaro Aguirre Elorriaga School so that they continue to receive their daily balanced meals. For most of them it’s the only meal they will receive in the day: https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/venezuela-a-daily-meal-for-400-deprived-kids/.

THANK YOU!
