400 kids attend Jenaro Aguirre school, take a snack and a balanced lunch daily and have medical and odontology care. Also, the community receives medical assistance at the Ambulatory. Our kids enjoy extracurricular activities: English, sports, arts, music, dance, catechesis. Children can opt for High School scholarships and are monitored by FMMLC, to help them succeed with their studies. Our teachers, assistants, and workers benefit from bonuses and rewards according to their performance.
In Petare, a slum in Caracas Venezuela, FMMLC supports Jenaro Aguirre School, school canteen and ambulatory. 400 kids from PK to 6th grade receive education and extracurricular activities. Unschooled children from the area attend special classes to be leveled and be incorporated in regular classrooms. At our school canteen we serve 900 balanced meals daily for our children and staff, supervised by a nutritional team. The ambulatory offers pediatric, gynecology, odontology, and general medicine.
FMMLC provides resources to Jenaro Aguirre School and the high school scholarship program. Their nutritional needs are partially covered by FMMLC, as well as pediatric and odontology. This project benefits not only the students and their families, but the community. We support medical consultation plus extraordinary medical journeys that reach out to a very poor community. Our standards of excellence are acknowledged in the schools where our students continue their education.
This project guarantees that our students finish 6th grade with all the tools needed to continue high school. They can accomplish this through our scholarship program. FMMLC provides a light snack and balanced lunch, for all students and staff, while are at the school. Our students and their families can rely their wellbeing on FMMLC, because at the ambulatory provides medical assistance and preventive health in areas such as pediatrics, odontology, gynecology, and general medicine.
