Dear VE friends,
September brought spring to Chile, and with it the days of celebration of Chile's Fiestas Patrias. During the holiday we enjoyed traditional Chilean cueca, empanadas and asados. We ended the month with our monthly Liga de Deportes. This month’s sport theme was hockey. During the Liga we aslo had a workshop where the children learned how to keep themselves safe online with important internet safety tips. As always, we ended the day with a healthy snack.
For $40 USD VE Global are able to give 20 children healthy snacks during our Liga de Deportes. We are a non-profit organization and without the financial support from individuals and business partners our work with children at-risk in Santiago de Chile would not be possible. We are very grateful for all the support we receive!
