The entire Vijana Amani Pamoja is privileged to bring to your attention a brief progress report of its ongoing construction of Youth Empowerment Centre.The centre that will serve as a place of pride for the youth and the entire community who will have an opportunity to gather,play,learn and grow together.Already,the building is taking shape but more support is needed from different corporates,individuals and foundation to complete all the empowerment units as planned:
-Vocational training centre- where youth will have a place to put into practicals various vocational training courses of their choice.
-Health Clinic- A youth friendly clinic where youth will access various services including HIV testing,voluntary counselling,cancer screening and other health referrals.
-Gender Based Recovery Unit-A place where girls and young women will reside as a safe heaven as they receive counseling while participating into vocational training courses of their choices.
-Pyscho social support Unit-A youth friendly unit where youth and the general community will access information on mental health and psycho social support.
-Library-A safe heaven place for youth to access educational information,revision and tuitorial support.
-Football/Soccer Pitch- A place for youth to gather,play and learn lifeskills as they develop their sporting talents.
Basketball Court- A place for youth to gather,play and learn lifeskills as they develop their sporting talents.
