BCT formation day
With November 11 marking the formation day for BCT, celebrations were held across the various centers operated by BCT. At the main campus, the entire team met together both online and offline. The work done in the past was recollected as plans were laid down for the future. Board members, staff, students and beneficiaries recollected the beginnings of BCT, and significant developments since then. People also shared the many personal experiences they had had with late founder Dr. BV Parameswara Rao
BCT Secretary Sri B Sri Ram Murty shared snippets of lesser known history of the organization and visited the various centers.
Children’s Day
On 14th November, Children’s Day was celebrated by school children of BCT Residential High School. Staff and students remembered Chacha Nehru on this occasion, which was celebrated with fun and games.
Tabs Distributed
In exciting developments, a total of 94 tabs were distributed to students of classes 8, 9 and 10 at BCT Residential High School. These tabs were sponsored by Amazon and Give India. Given the poor financial conditions of students and their families, these students had to miss classes during the Covid lockdown. However, now the tabs will be extremely helpful to students in attending online classes from their homes too.
