Education & Skill
With the affect of Covid-19 seeing reduced impact in rural areas, the BCT Residential High School conducted ‘Formative Assessment’ exams in the month of March. Conducted from 22 March onwards, the exams were conducted smoothly for the students. Additionally new batches learning tailoring joined the center, while previous batches left. The students learning tailoring skills stitched 30 school uniforms in March itself
Achievements at the school
Students of the BCT Residential High School rung in accolades during the past month. K Vishnu of Grade 10 and P Ashok of Grade 8 were selected for the physics projects they displayed at a district level competition. Their projects were about re lighting of CFL bulbs that don’t work and converting mechanical energy into electrical energy. While these winners were awarded Rs. 10,000 for their district level entries, the students will now reprogram their entries to match standards of the state level competition.
Academic continuity
Due to the second wave of pandemic, students were sent home and the teaching is continuing through digital means. Our teachers are trying to ensure the continuity in education is not broken.
