A simple vaccine can save a child's life. This project will deliver a targeted vaccination drive for 500 children in Kano State, Nigeria, protecting them from deadly but preventable diseases. By providing free, safe vaccines directly in underserved communities, we will reduce child deaths and stop disease outbreaks before they start.
Children in Kano are still dying from preventable diseases. Poverty, distance to health facilities, and misinformation prevent many families from accessing routine immunization. Without organized vaccination drives, children remain exposed to measles, polio, tetanus, and hepatitis-causing avoidable illness, disability, and loss of life.
Vaccines work-access makes them effective. We will conduct a community-based vaccination drive for 500 children aged 0-5, using trained health workers and approved vaccines. Mobile outreach points, caregiver education, and proper documentation will ensure safe delivery, full coverage, and follow-up for missed doses.
One vaccination drive can change a community's future. This project will reduce child mortality, increase immunization coverage, and lower the risk of disease outbreaks in Kano. Educated caregivers will continue routine vaccinations, helping children grow healthy, attend school consistently, and reach their full potential.
