Every year during Uttarayan(kite festival) Jivdaya Charitable Trust’ organizes a mammoth camp call ‘USBC(Uttarayan Save The Birds Campaign) where we need a team of knowledgeable and well-trained avian Veterinarians/Vet students who treat thousands of innocent birds who are the victim of deadly glass coated thread (manja). Avian handling is not a common and easily available training in India, keeping that fact in mind Jivdaya Charitable Trust’ has conducted an ‘Avian Emergency Handling’ workshop on 14th & 15th of December. Where all the participants have received detailed knowledge of avian handling through classroom and hands on training and covered subjects like- Rescue, handling and transportation, Physical examination and first aid, Avian anesthesia, Avian soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, Postoperative care and physiotherapy.
Surely this workshop will help to sharpen the skills and knowledge of the Veterinarians/ vet students to save thousands of avian lives successfully in the upcoming event of Uttarayan2020.
We request your strong association with our projects to continue the work of saving thousands of speechless birds in the upcoming Uttarayan Save the Birds Campaign 2020.
