Juice Processing and Organizational Support

Thank you again for your support and interest in the work we are doing. We could never accomplish what we have without our great team of staff, volunteers, and supporters - at home and overseas. All of you help to make an important impact and we are always grateful for you and your partnership with us. 

The juice program continues to generate income for our initiatives and we are still working to take this project to the next level. We are looking into commercial scale juice processors that would help us to increase our productivity immensely. This is something we are working towards and hope to have in place in the near future. 

The juice we produce is very popular in Buea and the communities in which we work. And, it is healthy, natural, and delicious. We are proud to produce a great product and to know that it also increases economic opportunities for our organization and for other individuals who can utilize this entrepreneurial initiative. 

Over this last dry season, we have had tremendous success growing and selling watermelon, out of season, with some creative irrigation solutions and a little bit of risk-taking. The results have exceeded our expectations and this has allowed us to sell a product that is in high demand, while also producing fresh watermelon juice during a time when this is not commonly found. This is something that we will continue to do in the future and we are excited for the positive economic outcomes of this initiative. We will keep you posted.
