Dear Donor,
Thanks to your continued support, we are helping communities understand why contact tracing and follow-up are essential components of Ebola containment.
People who may have been exposed to a confirmed case need appropriate monitoring so that symptoms can be recognized quickly and further transmission can be reduced.
The scale of the current response shows how important this cooperation is. WHO reported more than 32,000 contacts requiring follow-up during its 23 September reporting period, with 26,980 monitored in the preceding 24 hours.
Our community awareness efforts encourage cooperation while emphasizing respect, confidentiality, and compassion.
Your generosity is helping build the trust that makes contact follow-up more effective and communities safer.
