Dear Donor,
Thanks to your generous support, we continue strengthening community readiness so that families are not forced to wait until an emergency becomes severe before taking action.
Prepared communities understand where to seek information, how to report concerning illness, how to protect themselves while awaiting professional guidance, and why cooperation with health workers matters.
Our work focuses on practical preparedness that can be maintained every day. We encourage families to discuss prevention, identify trusted sources of health information, and maintain basic hygiene practices.
This approach is especially important while Bundibugyo virus disease continues to circulate in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The latest reporting shows that transmission remains active across multiple provinces and health zones.
Your support is helping communities move from simply reacting to outbreaks toward being prepared before emergencies escalate.
