Dear Donor,
Thanks to your generosity, we continue recognizing the important role community health volunteers and local outreach workers can play in Ebola preparedness.
These community-based actors can help share accurate information, identify concerns, encourage early reporting, and connect families with appropriate health services.
Because they understand local communities and speak directly with families, they can also help identify misinformation and explain public-health measures in ways that are easier to understand.
WHO's recent reporting emphasizes that surveillance depends significantly on community trust and timely reporting of alerts.
Supporting community-level awareness therefore strengthens the connection between formal health systems and the people they serve.
Your contribution helps empower communities to become active participants in protecting their own health.
