Dear Donor,
Thanks to your continued support, we are recognizing the specific needs of women, caregivers, and other people who may carry significant responsibilities for household health.
Caregivers may be closely involved in supporting sick family members, obtaining food and water, and maintaining household hygiene. This can place them in situations where exposure risks may increase.
Our community awareness work encourages caregivers to seek professional guidance, use appropriate protective measures, avoid unsafe contact with bodily fluids, and report concerning symptoms promptly.
Protecting caregivers is therefore an important part of protecting entire households.
WHO has also highlighted the need to protect women and girls from abuse and exploitation during the Ebola response, demonstrating the importance of safeguarding alongside disease-control activities.
Your support helps promote a response that considers both health and human dignity.
