Dear Donor,
Thanks to your generous support, we continue promoting Ebola preparedness within schools and other learning environments.
Schools bring together children, teachers, staff, and families every day, making them important places for health education and prevention. Our community-centered approach promotes handwashing, accurate health information, early reporting of illness, and communication between schools and families.
We also encourage school communities to avoid stigmatizing children or families who may have been exposed to Ebola. Compassion and accurate information are essential to maintaining trust.
Preparedness is particularly important while the DRC continues to experience active transmission, even though Uganda successfully ended its 2026 outbreak after completing the required 42-day period without a new confirmed case.
Your support helps schools become safer environments for learning and community health education.
