Dear Donor,
Thanks to your continued generosity, we are working to ensure that vulnerable households are not overlooked during Ebola preparedness and response activities.
Families affected by quarantine, contact monitoring, illness, displacement, or restricted movement can face difficulties obtaining food, hygiene materials, and other basic necessities. Addressing these practical challenges can help families follow public-health guidance more safely.
Our community-centered approach therefore connects prevention messaging with attention to household needs. Where possible, we promote hygiene supplies, food support, community awareness, and coordination with local response structures.
These interventions are particularly important in an outbreak occurring amid conflict, insecurity, and displacement. WHO reports that these conditions continue to complicate surveillance, contact tracing, infection prevention, and access to care in parts of the DRC.
Your support helps make Ebola preparedness more responsive to the realities families face every day.
