Dear Donor,
Thanks to your support, we continue emphasizing infection prevention and control as an essential part of Ebola preparedness. Healthcare facilities can become critical places for early diagnosis and treatment, but they must also maintain strong safeguards to protect healthcare workers, patients, caregivers, and visitors.
Our awareness and preparedness activities reinforce the importance of appropriate hygiene, protective practices, safe patient handling, environmental sanitation, and prompt reporting of suspected cases.
This remains particularly important because WHO has identified healthcare settings as one of the environments where delayed recognition can contribute to onward transmission.
By supporting community understanding of when and how to seek care, we can also help reduce unsafe delays and encourage people to approach health services appropriately.
Your contribution is helping strengthen safer pathways to care.
