Dear Donor,
North Kivu continues to experience significant Ebola transmission.
According to the latest ECDC update, North Kivu has recorded 1,570 confirmed cases and 931 deaths across 16 of its 34 health zones.
Development Alert continues strengthening awareness around early reporting, hygiene and appropriate healthcare seeking.
Communities affected by prolonged transmission need information that is practical and easy to understand.
We also encourage residents to cooperate with healthcare and surveillance teams while avoiding stigma toward affected individuals and families.
The continuing situation in North Kivu demonstrates why community engagement must remain an integral part of the response.
Your support helps strengthen local awareness and preparedness where continued transmission is placing communities under pressure.
