Dear Donor,
Thanks to your continued support, we are reinforcing awareness of infection prevention and control practices among communities and people interacting with health services.
The continuing DRC outbreak demonstrates how important infection prevention remains. WHO identifies households, communities, and healthcare settings as places where transmission can continue when cases are detected late or appropriate precautions are not consistently followed.
Our community-centered approach promotes practical hygiene, early care-seeking, safe interaction with suspected cases, and cooperation with trained health personnel.
We recognize that effective infection prevention is not only the responsibility of hospitals. Families, community leaders, schools, transport workers, and local organizations all have a role to play.
Your contribution is helping strengthen this shared culture of protection.
