Urgent Aid for Victims of Devastating Floods Kenya

The devastating floods in Kenya have left thousands displaced and in urgent need of food, shelter, and medical assistance. Through this project, Ready Aiders Foundation has focused on providing immediate relief to affected families while laying the groundwork for recovery and resilience.

• Distributed over 1,200 food parcels to displaced families across Mathare and surrounding communities, providing essential sustenance during this challenging time.
• Focused on meeting nutritional needs for vulnerable groups, including children, pregnant women, and the elderly.
• Mobilized 50 volunteers to assist in distribution efforts and educate communities about flood safety and hygiene practices to prevent disease outbreaks.

“Without the food parcels and blankets provided, my family wouldn’t have made it through the last month,” said Mama Fidel, a mother of three from Mathare.

Children in displaced communities have received nutritional support, ensuring their health and growth despite the crisis.
