Unrestricted support to our work in Tanzania.

Summary

Maybe a bit strange, but with all projects, we need funds to do basic things for our organisation to operate on a daily basis. From the website to some fuel for the car or new laptop, or a meeting with farmers to start a new project. Not all donors like to label their funds to one topic, so with this project, you can donate and we may decide what is used for emergency on projects, for daily operations or for savings for next years to come.

Challenge

The problem is that if we have to pay operational costs from the project donations, the prizes we ask have to go up that much, that we are not realistic in local prizes for the things we ask to donate for. If you calculated it back donors will say that we ask to much and hesitate to donate.

Solution

In splitting the operational costs from the project costs, we broaden our transparancy in financial reporting. We can explain why we need these unrestricted funds to operate on a daily basis to build a better organisation in the future.

Long-Term Impact

Building a better long term financial basic healty organisation. This will stop the ad hoc project operations; only work when funds are coming in and put every coin in the project to which is donated to. With unrestricted funds we get a trusted licence to operate here with our knowledge and our local experience.
