Little Drops of Well-being is an initiative that, with the support of our donors and partners, seeks to improve the health and hygiene of children in public schools.
In the first phase, public schools receive the donation of water filters so that children can drink safe water and prevent common illnesses.
In the second phase, corporate volunteers visit the schools and lead fun activities with the children focused on promoting proper handwashing, tooth brushing, and responsible water use while performing these personal hygiene activities.
This initiative focuses on rural communities where access to safe drinking water is limited. In some communities, water filters have been donated to families.
To date, these initiatives have been implemented in four schools. We will continue working on this initiative throughout the year.
We have also supported the construction of a water well in the community of Yamanta in La Mosquitia, a remote area facing various challenges. This well will benefit the entire community, especially the children who live in that community.
