Dear friends,
We are writing to share an important update from the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) in Kirovohrad, a hospital we have supported continuously since the beginning of the war.
Recently, with your support, we provided three electronic scales for newborns, with a total value of USD 651. These scales are basic yet essential for monitoring the health of premature and critically ill babies.
It is difficult to comprehend that such a vital hospital department—in the largest hospital in the region—would lack this kind of fundamental equipment for newborn care.
Yet this is the reality on the ground.
Amid ongoing strain, babies, their parents, and the medical professionals caring for them are often left to face immediate and life-threatening health challenges with very limited resources. With inadequate state funding, they are largely on their own and must rely on charitable support to provide the level of care every child deserves.
Without proper equipment, doctors and nurses are forced to work under conditions that compromise their ability to provide timely and accurate care.
As Bright Kids Charity, we remain committed to supporting this hospital and others like it—but we cannot do it without you.
We kindly ask you to support our initiative again so we can continue delivering essential equipment and help ensure that the most vulnerable patients receive the care they urgently need.
Your support is what makes it possible to bridge these gaps. Because of you, this NICU now has the tools to better care for its smallest patients—but the need remains urgent and ongoing.
Thank you for standing with these families and the dedicated medical teams who continue their work despite overwhelming challenges.
With gratitude,
Bright Kids Charity
