Thank you — we can’t say it enough! Because of your generosity, people impacted by the recent typhoon in the Philippines were able to receive meaningful support from a trusted nonprofit organization in GlobalGiving’s nonprofit network.
Your donation to the Typhoon Jolina Relief Fund powered an emergency grant to Citizens' Disaster Response Center Foundation (CDRC). With a long history of responding to disasters across the Philippines, CDRC is working closely with the Department of Health to identify people impacted by Typhoon Jolina and to direct medical supplies, food, and shelter kits to those displaced by the storm.
Beyond immediate relief, CDRC works across the Philippines to better prepare communities for future storms through local disaster risk reduction workshops, which aim to include marginalized groups in disaster preparedness.
Your support is advancing community-led recovery, and it means impacted people received critical resources to help their community rebuild after the typhoon.
This fund is no longer accepting donations, and this will be the last fund report of this kind from our team. Needless to say, we hope you’ll stay in touch!
You can stay connected with our work through Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and our Learn Library, where we regularly share stories about the incredible impact of the powerful GlobalGiving community. If you haven’t already, subscribe to get periodic email updates from our team here.
