This year has been a challenging one in terms of project implementation.Covid-19 has changed the dynamics of social meetings. Our community in Sotik is no different .The Covid-19 infections started in Nairobi the capital city but have now rapidly spread to the rural areas. It is here that HiH EA identified the gap in information especially to rural communities .We decided to first respond to the needs of the people through information sharing campaign and hand washing stations in markets and public spaces. The photos show HiH EA distributing tanks and also training on hand washing.
Looking forward, we still have not met our target to enable us implement the project to completion .We are still fundraising for the project and we encourage support from all quarters to enable the project to create Sustainable livelihoods for 220 farmers along the poultry value chain in Sotik sub-County, Kenya. We implore your support through the following channels .
