From the moment we are concieved flexors over power extensors. birth is both the first trauma and brak from belonging. From there we are essentailly on our own to make it in life. Depending on the stimulation and nurtutring we recieve our brains grow and develop.
Recenly we applied for a grant from a major foundation. they did not like the fact that we offered free Rolfing sessions to our teen volunteers on a voluntary basis and were not interested in hearing about the importance of touch for babies and children. So to attempt to get the funding I began to baack off and back down.
then I thought about it, did some research and found that there is substantial scientifc research on the importance of touch. I will be meeting with that foundation and cleaning this up they will either fund us or not but I am not backing off or down for my committemnt to do that which I know makes a profound difference.
This is critical for many of the people that recieve computers from us.
So to create a new appreaciation for this we are creating the first Global Massageathon.
Our web site will be up soon and you can see how you can contribute..
