TURKIYE AND SYRIA EARTHQUAKES - RESPONSE UPDATE

IOM has been scaling up in Turkiye and Northwest Syria, particularly in the areas hardest hit and where needs are highest. Weather conditions ranging from heavy rains to rising temperatures continue to impact displaced persons and the humanitarian community is adapting its response to address the resulting needs. Where possible, communities in informal temporary settlements are supported to transition to formal sites in which multi-sectoral services are centralized.
