Almost a year has passed since the catastrophic events of Tropical Storms Eta and Iota in Guatemala, where multiple families lost their homes and suffered substantial damage to their communities. Habitat Guatemala has continued to work in the different regions affected, contributing to the needs of the area and alleviating the aftermath of the storms.
Your contribution has helped Habitat for Humanity Guatemala identify 7 communities in the Alta Verapaz department that were severely impacted, and provide them with a kit of construction materials to repair their homes. For this project, Habitat Guatemala has partnered with TROCAIRE to repair the roofs of 375 families and install concrete floors in the homes of 86 families. Over the next months, construction and repairs will begin. Thank you for your continuous support of these projects!
