This spring we have focused on marketing the products that are available through the Tribal Traditions online store. Early this year we were given a $10,000 grant from BNSF Railways to help us kick off our marketing efforts and we were accepted into the google grant for non profits which gives $10,000 per/mo. in google adwords advertizing!
We started our first adwords campaign and have been busy driving traffic to the website. We have driven thousands of clicks to the website since early March and we still have not seen a sale come through the site. It is quite clear that some of the story has been lost in the website and we are excited to take the next necessary steps that will help people connect with the story of the people and items on the website. We are beginning the production of three educational videos that will highlight the story of the Lakota people on Pine Ridge Reservation and their sacred traditions.
