Project Update | July 2026

By Mira Kim | Head of International Cooperation Team

Dear Supporters,

We hope this message finds you well.

Thanks to your continued generosity, the Mongolia Burn Children Project has continued to make meaningful progress over the past few months. Every child we support is taking another step toward recovery, independence, and renewed confidence.

Since our last update, we have:
Provided regular scar management treatment and medical follow-up to reduce long-term complications
Offered psychological support and counseling to help children regain self-esteem and confidently return to school and community life
Delivered essential medical supplies and recovery assistance to families caring for children at home
Worked closely with local healthcare professionals to strengthen long-term burn care capacity through ongoing collaboration and knowledge sharing
The impact of your support

Because of your generosity:

More children are regaining the ability to perform everyday activities with greater comfort and independence.
Families report increased confidence in managing their children's recovery at home.
Children who once struggled with social isolation are gradually returning to school and participating more actively in their communities.
Local medical teams continue to build experience that will benefit many more burn survivors in the future.

While recovery from severe burns is often a long journey, each milestone—whether a child bending an arm more freely, returning to school, or smiling with renewed confidence—is made possible because of your support.

Looking ahead

In the coming months, we will:

Support additional reconstructive surgeries for children with functional limitations caused by burn scars.
Expand education and training opportunities for local healthcare providers to improve sustainable burn treatment.

Every step forward reflects the compassion of people like you. Your partnership is helping children move beyond survival and toward brighter, healthier futures filled with opportunity.

Thank you for standing with us and believing in every child's potential.

With sincere gratitude,
