I want thank voice for humanity Uganda for the trauma counselling sessions that they have been conducting with us. ‘These sessions have helped me so much to become more focused and to have positive mind’. I want thank them a gain for the financial support of $50 they have given me, it has enabled me to open the vegetable and other grocery items selling business which indeed has supported me to provide basic needs for my family like pay school fees, pay medical bills and do savings in the groups. With all these am now stress free and working with all my heart nothing disturbing me a gain.
Nefisa is a refugee from south sudan currently living at Boroli Refugee settlement of Adjumani. She is a sigle mother of 5 children having lost her husband to war in south sudan in 2016 before she ran to uganda. She is one of the 10 first cohort members of our Trauma Informed Self Reliance System (TISS) who underwent through 12 weeks TISS program that integrates Mental Health and Livelihood activitaion for sustianable livelihood.
