During 2024, we trained 450 players in 158 sports training sessions, totaling over 600 hours of practice.
To promote and teach values such as respect, humility, teamwork, honesty, and perseverance, we organized 3 inter-prison tournaments, 10 intramural matches, 10 technical talks, and 2 mental skills workshops. Additionally, we held 5 first aid and CPR training sessions.
In the extramural match, the team of Spartans competed against three teams from other penitentiary units and the women's rugby team from La Plata. More than 100 players participated in the event.
The extramural tournament is a unique opportunity for them to reunite with their families in a different environment, where they can show—through sports and the values they have learned—their path of transformation. Each hug represents forgiveness, hope, and the certainty that this journey of change is worth it.
The tournament was attended by the Minister of Justice and Human Rights of the Province of Buenos Aires, Juan Martín Mena.
