This project upgrades 3 classrooms in indigenous nahuas communities in Zongolica, Veracruz, Mexico using sustainable materials, enhancing bathrooms, and providing modular furniture and reading corners. Certified teacher training will improve classroom dynamics and pedagogies, directly benefiting indigenous students by boosting learning conditions and academic performance while addressing infrastructure challenges and promoting sustainability.
In Zongolica, Veracruz, Mexico indigenous nahuas schools struggle with deteriorated classrooms, poor sanitary facilities, and limited learning materials. These conditions severely hinder students' academic performance and well-being. The 'Transforming 3 Classrooms for Indigenous Children' project aims to address these gaps, creating a safe and engaging learning environment to enhance educational outcomes for these underserved communities.
