We are excited to share an update on the final project of the first phase of our School Infrastructure Program: the construction of a safe and dignified restroom facility for the Indigenous preschool in Azcuahutlamanca, Veracruz.
Over the past few months, we have been working closely with both municipal and Indigenous community authorities to develop the architectural plans for the project. This collaborative planning process ensures that the new facility responds to the community's needs and can be built efficiently once construction begins.
At the same time, we have made important progress in securing key resources. Thanks to the generosity of our partners and donors, we have already obtained donations of cement and the bathroom fixtures and equipment that will be installed in the new facility. These contributions represent an important step toward turning the project into reality.
Our current priority is raising the remaining funds needed to cover the construction costs. We are actively engaging supporters and funding partners so that work on the restrooms can begin as soon as possible.
Once completed, the new restroom will provide preschool students and teachers with access to safe, hygienic, and dignified sanitation facilities—creating a healthier learning environment and improving the daily school experience for generations of children.
We are sincerely grateful to our GlobalGiving supporters for helping us move this project forward. Your generosity is allowing us to continue building educational spaces where every child has the opportunity to learn in safe and dignified conditions.
