Women Without Borders-Kenya like other organizations face challenges with girl child.In Kenya since the year 2020 the year of COVID-19 many girls dropped out o school , increase of poverty levels,culture. This project is dedicated to breaking those barriers by by providing those basic needs that may cause drop out from school like :school fees, tuition,books school uniforms,pair of shoes socks,pants sanitary napkins body oil, washing soap,bathing soap shoe polish, school bags lunch, mentoring
In Kenya since the year 2020when COVID 19 apeared many girls dropped out of school and it has never been corrected.Im Bungoma county girls dropped out of school due to poverty levels in their households,many left to Nairobi to look for jobs as house maids ,other got pregnant and some got married.Such like early marriages are not sustainable After a short time they separate and go on looking for jobs which are not available.This increase GBVs and increase of poverty levels in their own family.
We are going back to this community to sensitize the caregiver about the dangers ,their children are going to face in the near future. Mentor this children and take them back to school.Provide all the basic needs required to keep her in school ,to enable her at list complete primary, secondary and join a vocational college where she can attain a skill for self sustainable .For those who can do well can join higher colleges like teachers, nursing,, University etc.
