Hello GlobalGiving supporters!
Another update for you. This time, instead of focusing on an individual youth, we want to share with you one of the amazing collaborations that this project is engaged in.
The Indigenous Youth Achieving Their Dreams Project has partnered with the indigenous school Cacique Antonio Ferreira to support the education of indigenous youth of the Anacé tribe by providing school supplies and snacks. The school has 80 students, including both adults and children, as described by Roberto Anacé, the coordinator of the school and the leader of the Anacé people. The school is located in the Caucaia region of the state of Ceara, and is designed to strengthen indigenous culture by exposing its students to the traditions, dances, rituals, and ancestral knowledge of the Anacé people.
This collaboration has been very successful and strengthens one of the key pillars of MSMC, that is, to strengthen indigenous identity.
Thank you for your continued support of this project. Your support ensures that future generations of indigenous youth are exposed to and immersed in their heritage and can keep their traditions and identity alive. By empowering the communities that the project seeks to affect from within, you are helping create sustainable change for the better.
