Every child in Pakistan has big dreams, but too many never get the chance to reach them. Children in our partner schools are, on average, four years behind grade level. Without timely support, these gaps grow each year, limiting future opportunities. Closing these gaps requires consistent teaching that unlocks the leadership students already carry. Your Zakat equips Fellows to create classrooms where children take charge of their learning, persist through challenges, and lead.
We recruit and train outstanding graduates for a two-year Fellowship teaching full time in under-resourced schools. Fellows rebuild foundational literacy and numeracy, close multi-year learning gaps, and move students to grade level and beyond. They set ambitious goals, track progress, partner with families, and create classrooms that unlock student leadership through responsibility, voice, and persistence. Fellows grow as leaders who continue strengthening education beyond their classrooms.
Independent evaluation shows children in our classrooms achieve 6 to 16 months of additional learning in 6 months. Principals report stronger school culture; parents see renewed excitement for learning. Thus far, 535 Fellows and Alumni have reached 38,000+ students across 141 schools nationwide. Beyond classrooms, our Alumni expand opportunities for over 1.8 million children by improving schools, training teachers, and informing public education programs. Your support makes this possible.
