Greetings supporters,
Congratulations! Together you raised over $4,000 during the Global Giving challenge in September. With these funds plus the matching, enough has been raised (and then some) to support the full 4 year tuition to train a clinical officer at the Malamulo College of Health Sciences! This is huge step in addressing the global health workforce shortage and saving lives in Malawi.
As next steps, we plan to collaborate with the Malamulo College of Health Sciences to track the health worker you have funded. We will meet this student, report on their progress in school and hear from him/her one on one about their career plans in the health sector in Malawi.
Thank you so very much for your donations and support to training clinical officers in Malawi. We look forward to sharing news with you about student training in the new year! Please tell your family and friends about this innovative way to train health workers in Africa. Let us raise more money to train additional health workers!
