As an update for our Train, Educate, Equip, and Mentor in Rural Michigan project, the TEEM Center continues to move forward with our programming for 2025. In spite of receiving no donations via GlobalGiving, we have received small external donations along with a small grant covering an upcoming community event.
Programming included a trades skills workshop for youth, a talent show, and educational movies. We have partnered with the local community school system to have a summer reading program for K-8th grade students. The community has been responsive to all of our events while local print media has provided coverage of our impact in the impoverished rural community.
The TEEM Center is hoping that donations will begin soon through the GlobalGiving which will allow us to work towards all of our project goals.
