This project will offer 30 young people in Bamenda-Cameroon whom the ongoing Anglophone crisis has brought them untold misery, frustration, anger, despair, malice, anxiety, an opportunity to equip themselves for the job market and community growth with productivity skills and behavioral skills, tools, mind-sets and strategies to drive positive change in our community.
The current socio political unrest plaguing the Northwest and Southwest regions of Cameroon has put the educational system and vocational trainings in great jeopardy.These attacks, the resulting fear,and the deteriorating security situation has caused school closures, with two out of three schools shut across the Anglophone regions, denying over 700,000students access to education (Human Rights Watch 2021).This project will provide productivity skills,behavioral skills, tools,positive mind-sets.
Self Reliance Promoters (SeReP) as a community based organization with the aim of supporting community development in our niche, has identified an undying need to build the capacity of youths by offering practical lessons both in career development, social relations and personal development through her circles volunteering program. It offers young graduates and non graduate productivity skills, behavioral skills, tools, positive mind-sets and strategies to drive positive change in our community.
This project will educate 30 young inexperienced graduates and non graduates, equipping themselves for the job market and community growth with productivity skills, behavioral skills, tools, positive mind-sets and strategies to drive positive change in our community while enhancing community peace and tranquility.
