The upcoming winter in Ukraine will be as difficult as last winter. Constant bombardments by the Russian Army left a lot of civilian infrastructure damaged and many homes without heat and electricity. Your continuous support is very important. Update: 8/1/2024: In addition to wood burning stoves we distribute batteries, solar lights and occasionally aid packages. Update: 3/31/2025: 480 stoves were distributed to elderly, families, schools, makeshift hospitals, etc.
In (and near) the war zone in Ukraine and in the recently liberated areas there are thousands of damaged homes, without heat and electricity. As the winter approaches people will be faced with difficult decisions trying to survive; for many it is a life and death situation.
Portable heater-stove can heat a good size room. Also, a family can use the top of the unit as a cooking surface as well. The unit can serve as a backup or as a main source of heat.
The unit has a life expectancy of at least 3-5 years (longer if used as a backup). This is a long-term asset for the family and a much needed equipment. Even if the is a pause or stop in the war activities the devastation in these towns and villages will be present for years to come. These units are a life line for many families.
