The war continues and RememberUs.org is continuing our humanitarian efforts. People in Ukraine are getting more desperate and in more and more need our support.
The last few months a key concentration area for RememberUs.org is older people and help with their medical needs. These are recurring activities. Through our website (there is an application for help) our volunteers receive hundreds of requests. Our volunteers call back people, determine the validity of requests, the need, etc., complete the paperwork and forward qualified requests for fulfillment. We send on average 50 packages per week to people. These medical boxes typically provide 1-3 months of needed supplies. Packages are sent through the postal service (we pay for that as well). Currently our target area is Kherson and region
We also continue with our special events project centered on specific dates (events and holidays). For example, for the New Year we organized over 500 New Year gift packages to children, ages 6 to 10. These packages were sent to Schevchenkovo (Kharkivs’ka oblast), Kharkiv, and Kherson, and a few other places. The packages included candies, cakes and toys.
We hope that our supporters realize the severity of conditions in Ukraine after the 3 years of continuous bombardments, lack of electricity, constant danger of drone attacks (even on civilians). We need your support to continue providing help to the people of Ukraine. RememberUs.org operates in volunteer format and almost 100 percent of your money goes to people in need.
