The challenges imposed on us by life forge the character of all the people who day after day must get through regardless of the circumstances; This is the case of many children and young people who despite having a young age face the ravages that cause diseases such as cancer.
Eliud lives in the municipality of El Naranjo, SLP entering the Huasteca area of the state, where he grew up in the company of his 6 sisters, 3 brothers and their parents: Lupita and Alfredo who, despite their low income have been able to keep his family.
The story of Eliud goes beyond a simple story of overcoming, is an example of success to have recovered from the cancer that attacked him from 10 years. It all started the day his uncle gave him a bicycle with which he went out to play in the company of his friends, however, that same day he had an accident: he fell off his bicycle after having stuck with one of his friends and He buried part of the handlebar in his stomach. In that lesion they discovered a tumor that gave rise to a diagnosis of cancer.
Eliud is a young man with the firm conviction to overcome and continue living to complete his dreams, always with a positive attitude despite the difficult experience he has had to overcome, with the support of his parents and AMANC had the opportunity to continue with his life project, which, according to his own words, is to finish a career as a civil engineer and combine it with sports, being a fervent follower of the Barcelona soccer team.
Currently Eliud is 15 years old and the process of his treatment has ended after receiving chemotherapy on several occasions during this time. Now he is in surveillance after having overcome the most difficult stage of his life. Thanks to the timely attention he has received, he will be able to continue his studies and thus fulfill the goals that have been proposed.
The timely treatment of cancer offers a chance for life for those who need it most, children and young people in this country who do not have the necessary resources. In AMANC SLP we are sure that, with love, respect and professionalism, you can accompany those who face this disease.
