Micani, the most poverty-stricken town in Bolivia, is in great need. They have been using old methods of cooking, old bathrooms or none, and outdated contaminated water management. As a result, there are many diseases that are caused by smoke pollution, drinking dirty water, and lack of hand washing. Today we are already working in 19 communities of Micani with 412 families. With your help, a total of 43 communities could potentially be a part of this development in the future.
Micani is home to the poorest people in Bolivia. Many serious health issues resulting from using contaminated water, lack of knowledge about water consumption, and CO2 inhalation from burning wood are present, and they need to be addressed immediately. Contaminations that cause these harmful diseases can be controlled, however there is a lack of information and security about this problem.
The project focuses on providing a dignified life for all, free of contamination. Each community will become a model of progress by controlling pollution and eliminating diseases.
The Micani community will have a self-sustaining improvement system. With our focus on forming leaders as agents of change in the same communities, we are already working in 19 communities of Micani with 412 families. In total there are 43 communities that could potentially be a part of this development in the future. With your investment in the future of these communities you can be a part of this transformation.
