Thunder Softball and HGSA
Thunder Softball has "adopted" a 10u HGSA rec team. The girls have been working with them on Hitting, Fielding, Pitching and general Defensive skills on Sundays.
On July 1st the Glencoe HS Softball team (several Thunder girls on Glencoe's HS team) opened up their field for a HOME game for Hillsboro Girls Softball Association. It was a Blast.
The girls did the National Anthem, Walkup Songs, At Bat Annoucenments and also opened up the Snack Shack.
A true GAME NIGHT for these young 10u girls.
Great job Thunder Softball giving back to the Sport that has giving you so much!

Annual Bingo and Silent Auction night
By Jason Eastman | President
Thunder Softball and Glencoe Softball is in need of your support! Our athletes will be hosting a Bingo Night on March 18th, 2017 to raise funds for their softball season, uniforms, equipment, and field maintenance. You can make a difference in the lives of these young women by ensuring this night is a success! We are reaching out to our local businesses to request donations of raffle and silent auction items. Each supporting business will be recognized on our team website, as well as announced at the bingo event.
Glencoe has established our softball program as one of the top in the state, while competing in the very tough Metro League. In 2013 and 2016, we competed in the 6A State Championship game, finishing second. We competed in the state championship four times from 2007 to 2010, winning the 5A State Championship in 2010. To continue this success, we must fundraise for these opportunities, and we are looking to you for cash or prize donations to support our Bingo Night raffles and upcoming season.
We would appreciate anything you can provide to support our girls in achieving excellence on and off the field. Please consider helping Glencoe Girls Softball by making a tax deductible donation today.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Sincerely,
Varsity Head Coach - Jason Eastman

Hillsboro girls softball facility

Future building - WE NEED HELP!! $$
Football, baseball, volleyball, tennis, track and many more. The athletic program at Glenoce High school is just a small part of this school that makes it an amazing place. So what if I asked you, what could make it even better?
Each sport at this school has their hands on on an accessible way to train and put in work to perfect their craft. When the season comes around and teams are thrown together, practicing is just the beginning of it all. The baseball program here at Glencoe already has their own hitting facility, but when April rolls around and the softball girls of Glencoe start to crawl out, where can they put in time? Varsity head coach, Jason Eastman, is putting together a plan to construct an on campus facility for the softball program here at Glencoe Softball. This is going to benefit the girls in many ways, giving them a place to practice on their own time, especially during the rainy days Oregon experiences. This is also going to benefit the school by giving more to their athletic program. This could also benefit youth and club teams who have access to the facility. A 72'x48' indoor structure will be built near the Varsity 3rd base dugout were the current net structure was donated by the Oregon Thunder softball program back in 2010. We are excited to leave our legacy in an already amazing program.
