Football, baseball, volleyball, tennis, track and many more. The athletic program at Glenoce High school is just a small part of this school that makes it an amazing place. So what if I asked you, what could make it even better?
Each sport at this school has their hands on on an accessible way to train and put in work to perfect their craft. When the season comes around and teams are thrown together, practicing is just the beginning of it all. The baseball program here at Glencoe already has their own hitting facility, but when April rolls around and the softball girls of Glencoe start to crawl out, where can they put in time? Varsity head coach, Jason Eastman, is putting together a plan to construct an on campus facility for the softball program here at Glencoe Softball. This is going to benefit the girls in many ways, giving them a place to practice on their own time, especially during the rainy days Oregon experiences. This is also going to benefit the school by giving more to their athletic program. This could also benefit youth and club teams who have access to the facility. A 72'x48' indoor structure will be built near the Varsity 3rd base dugout were the current net structure was donated by the Oregon Thunder softball program back in 2010. We are excited to leave our legacy in an already amazing program.
